NT10 what am I doing wrong with this approach?

Hi,
I have a form of something similar to an invoice.
Some fields and two browses.
The first browse is used to select and add rows to the child browse of
the form.
This browse has a button Insert that opens a popup form with data of the
second browse.
To do this I SSV the Code of the Product in the Value::routine/End of
the Insert Button, then in the form I fetch the Product and the user
fills the quantity, press ok and the row is inserted in the second Browse.
Problem is thet randomly when the popup form opens the Prodcut Code is
empty and sometimes too the COde is ok but when saved the Code is saved
blanked.
Please se the attached images.
Ive tried to debug it but nothing, I dont know why it is happening and
its random.
Any Idea?
