vTip and Html | Showing on Firefox but not Chrome or IE

Hi Folks,

Have discovered that for basic html, vTip works fine in Firefox but doesn't display (or get loaded?) in Chrome or IE.

[edit] Am running the latest versions of all browsers.

Attached are the pics showing what happens.

It looks like Chrome and IE aren't recognising that the jquery plugin exists.

Am doing more testing, but figured I'd ask here also.

Any thoughts?

First step I guess is to add vTip to a shipping example, then try that in the various browsers.
If it works / does not work there then that indicates the direction to go in.

Incidentally, also check out the console in Chrome to see if there are any errors there.

And perhaps make sure the vtip.js file exists - perhaps firefoc is getting it from the cache?

Tested Vtips with Chrome 55.  and that is working great.

Just thought I would let you know.

Thanks Vinnie, good to know. Haven't updated yet, will need to spend time checking through all webservices to make sure they work after the upgrade.

true - although just yesterday I helped someone debug a problem where their GzipAll.Bat was not being re-generated and re-run (because, um, that's a setting in the template which he used) - then he adds a script, but the page that uses the script can't find it.

Keep me posted though...
