button on a browse - 'in row' button
« on: November 05, 2016, 07:37:36 AM »
Hi,

I've seen questions like this before, but cannot find what I want.

I have a browse with several columns and one button ('in row'). Browse file = Actions
(one of the columns = ACT:CustomerID)
The button ('other') must open a Form with a record from another file (table): Customers with that CustomerID)
(The Action file has a relationship with Customers)
How can I open that form?
Please help me, I am stuck.

Kind regards, Piet

The Cus:CustomerId field could be passed as a parameter.
Ideally indirectly using AddBrowseValue.

See FAQ #4 for some hints, but we can also chat about it in the webinar this week.

cheers
