Save Button at bottom of form as well as top
« on: October 19, 2016, 01:15:32 PM »
Hi,

I have a couple of very long forms that I put second Save and Cancel buttons on an unlabelled tab at the bottom so the user doesn't have to scroll all the way back to the top to save or cancel.  The bottom Cancel button works fine but the bottom Save button has no text, icon or action.  The problem only occurs on long forms.   I can put working second Save buttons on short forms in my app and in an example.app (the forms are all as pages not popups).  I can't find any setting differences between working and problem forms, but, of course, that doesn't mean there aren't some.

I have attached the different button <div> output from the working example and problem form that show the problem button is missing several attributes.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

As a feature request, allowing the button set to appear both at the top and bottom of the form would be great.  Like the navigation button set for browses.

In any event, thanks a lot.

Did you mean to post an example with this note Casey?
I didn't see one...

Aren't Save and Cancel buttons usually generated at the _bottom_ of the Form? Not the Top?
