ems instead of pixels.

Perhaps at some point,  could ems be added as an option for defining widths along with pixels?   I know STRING inputs are converted to ems from the specified number of characters.  I am guessing they are not there now because fonts might different between table rows, for example.  But it is something we can adjust for.
