Total fields
« on: March 13, 2015, 03:12:30 AM »
Hi,

When I have total field on webbrowse if it is file loaded than Total is Ok. But if browse is page loaded I have totals only for displayed data.

It makes me problem in design. I would like to have browse with NavButtons (data subset)  and with totals for entire dataset no matter if it is entirely displayed or not.

Best regards,

Djole

Hi Djole,

if you embed your browse on a memory form you could add a field to the memory form to hold the total.

I made it with some embed code.

Creat new routine GenerateTotals and call it as a last statement in routine GenerateTableRows.

Best regards,

Djole

Ok. I was playing with totals in a NetBrowse and somehow I manage to generate what I need even if it is not file loaded browse but it is PITA if you try to make totals for a fields that are not included in a browse.

Is there any possibility to upgrade totaling in a NetBrowse? It will save us plenty of time and will make our everyday work easier.

Best regards,

Djordje

Hi Djordje,

Post something in the feature requests forum.
I'm not planning to update this soon, because there are just too many things which need to happen before Devcon, but it's certainly something that could be revisited in the future.

cheers
