Browse in Form filter question.
« on: December 23, 2014, 09:50:36 AM »
Hi All,

Have browse in a form and would like to filter/locate the browse using the seven fields in the browse. I want the browse to be blank when entering the form. The Locator would be ideal but it only works on the default sort field, and if the browse is blank you cannot click on the header because there is none.

How could this be done? What alternative do you suggest?

Hi Ashley,

no, it can work on a list of fields in the table (whether they are columns in the browse or not.)

and if the browse is blank you cannot click on the header because there is none. See the "Locate on Fields" setting on the "Sort" tab for a column. You can enter a comma-separated-list of fields here.

Cheers
