Maps and Google Provider
« on: July 23, 2014, 05:12:47 AM »
I´m developing a server using NT to interact with Android APP (development using B4A). So, my Android APP are using Google Maps and NT Maps don´t. will Google Maps be included as provider for NT Maps?

maybe, but the google license doesn't make it easy. ie it's a license issue, not a technical issue.

cheers

both.
Their license terms mean that leaflet.js (which is the map javascript we use) can only have very limited support for Google maps.
On your side there are a few restrictions on what you can do with the maps before you need to start paying for them.

It's not high on my list at the moment, but of course anyone else could implement it and submit that back to me for inclusion. (or just build it as a NetTalk add-on...)

Cheers
