Problem with browse EIP fields and form fields
« on: April 16, 2013, 11:52:46 AM »
This is another problem with mi shopping cart app.
In the Attached image we have:

Browse A wich is de "articles" browse
Browse B is the cart itself and it is Child of A
Form C is a memory form wich is again Child of B

Browse B has a EIP field to specify the quantity of the selected article.
It works ok till I added the Form C to complete the last data to generate the invoice.

Problem is that when I click on the EIP field the first form field is selected and I cant modify the eip field.

What am I doing wrong?
Thanks

you could try starting with a memory form and adding the parent browse and the extra fields in section C. The tricky bit is getting your C items under your child browse. You would need to play around with Tabs, last on line and CSS I think.

you can't make a form the child of a browse.
Only other browses, and netwebsource can be children.

At least that used to be the case - it's _possible_ its at least technically possible now, but I've not tried it, or experimented with it.

I think you might be better off starting with the form, then adding the browse(es) as fields onto the form.

cheers
