Compile Web56 in examples then view in MSIE 8 or 9.  The menu text is expanding past the menu and some cases is being cut off. If this example had long drop-down menu item text (~25 or more characters), you would see that the item text would expand outside the menu. The long menu item issue also occurs with the Chrome browser.  Everything looks fine in Firefox, however appears unprofessional in MSIE .  I wish all my clients would use Firefox, however most use MSIE.

hi Rob,

just to clarify a couple things if I may;

the menu as set in that example, is the "mobile" menu. Which is to say the WebHandler is forcing the app into mobile mode. (For no other reason that that's the last thing I did to it when I was testing menus.) Is it specifically this menu you are having a problem with, or did you change it out of mobile mode, perhaps into another menu?

I guess a screen-shot of the effect you are seeing would be great to help me understand exactly what combination of things you are looking at.

cheers
Bruce

Yes, I change the example to desktop mode. Attached is the image of menus example viewed in MSIE 8. The same problem exists with MSIE 9 and to a lesser degree in Chrome. Text is being cut off on "Static Tabs Rule". I added more text to a drop down menu item which causes "Accordion and more menu text" to stretch outside of the menu. The menus work properly  in Firefox.
