Assertion fault after using new serverweb wizard
« on: July 11, 2012, 08:08:44 AM »
Hi all,

I generated a new app from the nettalk (NT 6.) wizard with only one file in the dictionary.
But when I open the application in the browser I keep getting "Assertion failed" with the message The file is still open. with almost every action.
I can't figure out what causes this.
Can somebody help me?

Thanks in advance
Joep

Hi Bruce,

The exact message is:
Assertion failed on line 583 in file ABFILE.clw. Message: The file is still open. Open Counter is 0 on file: C:|Clarion6\Apps\WellCareTest\BENTUSR.TPS Shall I GPF?

can you maybe email me the app & dict & tps files?

(you can suppress the error by compiling in non-debug mode for now, but I'd like to see the app to see why the Assert is appearing in the first place.)

which build of Clarion are you using?

cheers
