Anyone tried these 3rd party templates?
« on: December 31, 2011, 06:49:55 AM »
I have contacted Bo (Comsoft) but wondered if anyone here had tried implementing BST (Scheduling) and BoTran (Translation) in a NT6 web app?

I would have thought BST would be OK but BoTran would not sure if BoTran would work matching the prompts on an HTML page?

Your best option is to ask the product supplier.
My guess would be that the translation engine should be easy to use, by calling it directly from the WebHandler Translation method.  NetTalk passes all plain-text through this method so you can plug in whichever translation engine you like.

The Scheduling template sounds very much like a screen component, in which case it would need to generate HTML rather than clarion screen controls. So my guess is that, unless Bo has added support directly, this will not work. If you want to see some built-in calendar options, see the webinar on that.

I don't know BoTran, but if he provides a function like

y = translate(fromx)

then you should be able to use this in the WebHandler translate method.
