Is there a Web FTP example?
« on: December 05, 2011, 07:24:45 AM »
The closest I can find is File Upload/Download which is not quite what I want.

I need to create a method of transferring my desktop tps files to the mobile device and vica versa. The ordinary FTP example works perfectly but when you import the procedures intot he web app I get all sorts of errors.

Is there any other method of getting tps files to and from the mobile device? Of course once they have been uploaded/downloaded I will have a source procedure to update the files accordingly.

Thanks.

John

Sorry - I am being stupid!

The idea is that if they have one of my "tradional" Clarion aplications then they can transfer the tps file (cut down) from there to the server and pull them back down. IOW a cut down data set is run on the server.

If they do not have my tradional application then there is no need for transfers.

So the FTP would be done on the desktop (traditional system) and there is no problem there as the server details are known so can be hard code and encrypted!

No FTP on the mobile device is needed. DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
