XP Tabs don't display correctly (5.22)

I don't use XP Tabs, but I noticed on your tab example, that all the tabs are diplayed at once.



As an aside you will see that the number field has spin boxes. But this only happens in Chrome? Is this by design? Can only Chrome support it?

Hi Bryan,

yes, there's been a report that the XP-tabs broke in the last build. I'll probably shunt out 5.23 before I get to that (because the trivial work-around exists for xp-tabs) and there are issues with the popups that need resolving first.

But thanks for the report.

Regarding spin boxes - it's an HTML 5 feature which turns "number" fields into spin boxes. Chrome, Safari & Opera support it if memory serves me correctly. jQuery-UI has a Spin widget though in the works, so I'll probably implement that so there's proper cross-browser support. Got a couple other things to do first though...

I am looking into the XP tabs problem, however in the long run I'd like to deprecate some of the "extra" JavaScript files, replacing them with suitable "styles". The XP Tab seems like a good place to start.

So, if you are using the XP-tab can you please try the following (at least until the XP Tab script is fixed.) Please also post feedback on how well this did (or didn't) work for you.

a) download the attached "web" folder. (This is _only_ for version 5.23 of nettalk).

b) change the form style to "tab".

to change 1 for procedure;

c) On the form settings, CSS Classes tab, set "Tabs CSS, Title" to ' nt-xptab-title'
(note the leading space).

or to change all form procedures (with Tab Type set as "default")
c1) WebServer procedure, NetTalk extension, Styles, Form tab. Set "Form Type" to "Tab" instead of "Xp-Tabs".
c2) Set "Tab Title" to 'nt-tab-title nt-xptab-title'

Added the 'nt-tab-title nt-xptab-title' and my XP-tab seems to be working fine.
