Using the inline view button
« on: February 28, 2011, 03:33:36 PM »
Hi,

When I create a browse with inline buttons (View, Change, Delete) and I use the view button to zoom in on the details of the record without the intention of changing them, a form is shown in view mode (loc:act says something else though).

I check loc:act to determine which text to put on my form. (Insert/Update/Delete/View)

The form only has read only fields and a Close button. So far so good.

Also the form has tabs (I will call these "secondary" tabs).

One of the secondary tabs contains a browse with inline buttons.
Long story short:
When I use one of the change buttons on one of the"secondary" (I know they're not) tabs, the whole lot goes into change mode including the view form I started with.

Is this normal behaviour? Or are my expections driving me too far ;-) ??

Regards,

Rene Simons

As always an example would be appreciated, and would help speed up the process.

cheers
