Sort browse after used locator

I  the click the column header to  locate my records (like by parts number)
My problem is the list will be sort by the column header value (like by parts number)
I want resort the filtered records by different value (like by quantity desending order)

If I'm reading your question right, I think what you need to do is embed your browse in a memory form so you can build your own Query by adding a separate field to filter on parts. There may already be an example with the install that shows this method.

So what you're saying is that you want to specify the sort order to be used when a user clicks on the header?

So a column that contains say the pro:PartNumber, will actually sort on pro:Quantity?

You can do this by setting the custom sort order for the column on the "Sort" tab.
