Having to log in twice
« on: August 03, 2009, 01:25:44 PM »
I have this niggling problem with a login page (it started out as the original login page example at one point). But for several versions when someone logs in by entering a user name and password, even though it's valid, they have to click the login button again (even though the fields remain the same). Does this problem, and a resulting solution, ring a bell with anyone? Thanks!

a) what browser?

b) turn off auto-field-validation for the page. (Since I don't expect you're doing any dynamic validation of the fields anyway.)

Cheers

Firefox, and that did it. Thanks so much. I've been fighting that since shortly after using NTWS.
