how to translate a <-- Net.....>
« on: May 21, 2009, 10:13:27 AM »
Hi,

Translation is working almost perfectly!

I need advice in the following problem.
The server has several html pages for presentation, explanation, errors, etc
I would need to have one page for each language.
Is there any way of translating them at real time, lets say while including them or befor including them.
The texts to translate may be sorrunded by [] to detect what to translate.

Any Idea?
Thanks

Hi Alberto,

Frankly my recommendation would be to duplicate the pages in each langauge.
The amount of work to maintain a translation system for long paragraphs of text is likely to be the same as making duplicate pages.

And performance of the htm files, if loaded straight from the disk and delivered, will be greater than having to parse, and translate each one as it is served.

Just make sure the pages use the maximum amount of css for layout and design so that they are easily changed (in one place) if you want to change them.

Cheers
