Camscanner
« on: December 22, 2021, 08:40:29 AM »
Hi,

Interest to find out if there is another JS library or way to implement something like in NTWS
https://dev.camscanner.com/

At the moment using the seperate 3rd party mobile app camscanner to batch scan docs and then upload to NTWS as one PDF.

My app then splits, archives, processes the docs received, but will be cool to get rid of the 3rd party app and have functionality in the NTWS app of a similar standard.
One of the really cool things is the doc is cropped using the corners , in so doing creating a very good quality usable archive copy of the doc.

thanks

Johan

Johan,
Are you still using camscanner?  It looks like it might help pick out the documents from pictures.  Let me know how you are using it.
Thanks,
Ron

Hi Ron,

Yes, I use it, but as a standalone app, I scan docs to PDF,
then upload a file with 20-50 pages to NTWS,
then split the PDF in the NTWS into separate docs per page and archive into a folder structure with a reference in a tps file to the file on disk.
Works very well.
Camscanner is by far the best doc scanning app I've found, the ease and quality is really good.

cheers,
Johan
