Remember Me feature NT 11.04

Bruce,

I just received a report that the Remember Me feature seems to be saving the user name and the password.  I'm looking into this but wanted to get your thoughts.  My understanding was that it should "remember" only the user name.  Anything you can direct me to check as I investigate this?

Looking at the code in the ValidateUpdate embed of my login form, I see the third line stores the password in a cookie (see attached image).  I think I can just comment out this line to stop the password from being remembered.  I'll give this a try.  Please let me know if this is not the recommended way to solve this.

hi Jeff,

yeah, if you "remember me" then it's saving the login and password in a cookie.
So if you don't want to do that then tweak the code as you noted.
