Save server state between runs still broken (8.52)
« on: July 07, 2015, 12:29:56 AM »
Hi Bruce,

<bump>
If you un-tick this option the template still generates part of the code. It's been like that since this feature was introduced.
</bump>

When testing it's a bit annoying having to manually delete the ServerState.xml file over and over if you want to start out 'clean' on each run.

I'm not seeing that here Peter - although I've just tested in 8.53 not 8.52.  I'm going to release the 8.53 build and then let me know if you are still seeing it. If you are then I need to dig deeper into what you are doing , because on this side it appears to be off if set off.

cheers
Bruce

Cool, will test the new build when available. But I'm not really doing anything, just unchecking the check box.

Re: Save server state between runs still broken (8.52) - SOLVED

As it turned out there was never a problem in NT. The app I'm playing with has got TWO web servers - one secure and one unsecure. And I un-checked the 'Save state between runs' only for the secure server which is the 'main server' (the one I'm working with - the other one is just there to redirect people coming in via port 80). So I was the one messing up here!
