Close Button disabled on a form
« on: November 04, 2014, 05:48:33 PM »
Hi all, I have a form (NOT a popup) that displays a record, I dont want the user to make any changes, so its view only.  NO save button etc.

But my form is generated without the ability to close it (see image)

In the forms settings the option to add a close button is disabled, and I cant see how to enable it.

Any clues anyone ?

Hi Kevin
You need to have a save button, then you can check the close button include checkbox which then only have a close button.

yeah, the reasons for this are historical, and it's not exactly intuitive. I'll see if that approach can be changed a bit...
