Is it NetTalk or Clarion 9 or me or the weather?
« on: February 02, 2014, 05:12:20 AM »
I´ve seen several cases now where a change in template settings NOT is carried through the app after recompile.
For instance: I setup a filter in a NetWebBrowse and I do it wrong (I'm not the first one doing this wrong I guess) so I get an error.
Ok, I change the filter and the same error pops up, change it again and totally different: same error again.
I have to delete the filter: ok now the error is gone and I can try again. Sometimes even a delete doesn't help and I have to
use a backup of the app.
I have seen this in many cases with different settings. There all in NetTalk templates bebause I only use C9 with NetTalk templates.
Tried to change a global to force a complete rebuild (does that work in C9?) without success.

Is this C9? Is there some way or setting in C9 that could help?
And NO I can't reproduce it and most of the times it works well. It seems pretty random, sometimes just doing it over and over again triggers something so that the expected result is there.  Normally I use the "Generate, make and run" icon on top.

TIA,
Nick

Also see my posting "Split a string...
