SecWin6 error when adding to NetTalk
« on: October 17, 2013, 02:28:32 PM »
Hi Bruce,

I purchased SecWin6 at the conference to add to NetTalk (using latest). I'm now integrating it with my app. When I go to the PageHeaderTag page with the menu extension on it, there's the button to Add SecWin Menus. When I click on it, it adds the Security and User listings (ie tabs), but the User line now shows twice, as there is both the new listing created, plus it has replaced and renamed one of my original tab listings called Activities. All of the menu items under my Activities tab are now showing in both of the User listings, along with the new secwin procedures. If I delete either User listing, it deletes both listings and leaves a blank space where my original Activities listing was--my original Activities listing with all of the menu items is gone too.

Regards,

Mark

Hi Mark,

not sure exactly what it did, but your best option is probably to roll back to a backup if possible.
(or delete the HeaderTag procedure and import just that procedure from a Backup).

And then, I guess, I'd recommend adding the menu items by hand. There's only a couple so it doesn't take long.

The root problem sounds like a template or IDE error, but at this point it's likely you have something pooched in the template settings themselves.

Cheers
Bruce
