How to open a Record in a form?
« on: July 04, 2013, 04:24:48 AM »
Hi

Can anybody help me, I want to get a record to display in a netwebform from a button on another form, There is not a netwebbrowse that I can select to do 'change' and it will open the record and display the info for me.

Some sample code and the embed point to use to get the record and display it in the form will be appreciated.

Regards
Johan

Hi Johan,

FAQ W4 is the most common response to this.

an alternative approach (if this particular for is _never_ called from a browse) is to use the Settings on the Form's "Advanced" tab to prime the action, and record, which the form will use.

cheers
Bruce
