Make button into link
« on: January 22, 2013, 01:07:03 PM »
Hi all, I can't for the life of me remember how to make a button appear as a link. I was thinking it was p_web.site. something.

Anyone know off hand? Thank you!

Hi have no idea what you're asking Mike - can you expand on the question a little?
I think giving us more information on the context of what you are trying to do here may be helpful.

cheers
Bruce

Hi Bruce, I should fix the root of my problem which is the login form doesnt process when pressing the enter key, so I thought I would make the user click a link instead. I know how to add a link to the form to go to another page, but I need to process the login code first.

I have the login page set up pretty much exactly as the example, but want the login button to be a link instead of a button.

Hi Mike,

I'm not sure how changing it from a button to a link will solve your problem,

but either way, no - there's no way to change the Login button (which is really a Form Save button) into a link.

If it's any consolation, I've tested example 3 here and you can press Enter when on the password field, and the Login button does get triggered, so if that's not working there then perhaps more detail about that is required?

cheers
