Problem with a Display field on a form
« on: May 23, 2008, 08:45:55 PM »
I've got a lengthy field (about 1000 characters) from a file field, and it just scrolls off the end of the window (see attached photo). I've got the form layout set to 600 pixels, and also tried to do the same with the value width. I can see that it scrolls off the edge of the window (it's XHTML), and that the width is set for the prompt and the comment cells, but not the value cell.

I believe this is a template error but I can't follow the template code well enough to know how to fix it. Any ideas of how I can get around this problem for now? The actual problem can be seen at http://204.10.18.17:4622/ and going to the link below the login: "Click to view jobs without logging on" and going to a record somewhere in the middle of the list. I mickey-moused the demo to get me through it by adding manual carriage returns on the first record. Any suggestions for change it?

BTW, sometimes it even throws a bad pointer error (GPF) for some reason.
