How to disable the Change/Delete buttons on a row by row basis.
« on: October 24, 2012, 05:11:47 PM »
Hi,

I have a browse with multiple transactions on it and I want to disable the change and delete buttons if the DatePosted field is set but allow them for the rows where it is not set.

I tried the conditional setting on the buttons but it doesn't seem to reflect the field value on a row by row basis.

Does anyone have this working?

Thanks

Parker

post a screen shot of what you are doing and the condition. BTW dates can be tricky so I would be looking in your data files to see the value in that field to make sure your condition is correct.

the conditions on the _form_ tab apply to the in-row buttons as well as the "below" buttons.

So in your case, in the browse, go to the form tab, to the "change" (and "delete") tab and set the condition there.

cheers
