Net Talk 6 and Static Pages
« on: March 19, 2012, 12:57:32 PM »
Bruce,
I have an existing NTWS app on NT 5 that uses static pages (with dynamic content).  My new apps are being built on NT 6.  What I am wondering is has anything changed in NT 6 that would have depreciated its ability to support static pages.

I would like to upgrade that app to NT 6 but I don't want to go there if NT 6 has lost any capability with regard to static page support.
Thanks,
Mike

Mike,

Not at all - NT6 retains the excellent static page support that NT5 had.  You shouldn't have ANY issues upgrading at all.

Cheers,
Devan

Hi Bruce

Two files may be missing. When I try to run example 47 (CW6.3) the two files index.htm and form.htm are missing. I looked in the web folder as well, and they still was'nt there.
Any place I can find them ?

Best regards

attached are the custom web files for that example.
I've touched the next build so they'll be included - sorry about that.

cheers
Bruce
