No class in browse header
« on: November 21, 2011, 11:18:37 AM »
Hi Bruce,

I have a browse where some columns that are conditionally hidden or shown.
The result is that the las column, which is conditioned, has no color in the heading.
See the png what I mean. The right most column has no _th_ tag

The browse does what I want it to do. Only the cosmetics need some polishing  :).

Cheers,
Rene Simons.

P.s.
Very very nice job you are doing on NT6.
I ordered it right after I finished watching the webinar recording

Rene,

Hi there.

I've seen this happen when using the "span columns" has been used by the heading or column in the template.

WHEN I've miscounted one or the other, and they are out of synch.

Not sure if that helps.
Cheers,

Stu Andrews

Hi Rene,
From your pic it looks like you've got multiple columns in the same column.
I think you would need to make an example of how you are getting this effect in order to comment on the header.

cheers
Bruce

Hi,

You're absolutely right Bruce.
I only show one of 7 columns in the second column.
Only the one that is appropiate for the particular row.
I achieve that by using the "Column condition" which tests a value  in the "mother" record of the row in question.
The "mother" is in the browse view.

This way I build a flexible form. Hence the EIP.

It works fine this way. Only the column heading styling doesn't. But I can live with that.

I have added some png files to illustrate

Cheers,
Rene

The ""Column condition" tests happen when the header is generated as well. Since they're all defaulting to "no", no header is generated. You may want to add a header manually.
