Phantom equates
« on: November 02, 2011, 07:52:35 AM »
I have several forms with phantom equates on it. To explain: These equates seem to be the remainders of deleted  fields that were on the form once. But even if I rename an field equate its old name remains.

It doesn’t seem to harm, but it is a bit confusing. How can get rid of these phantom equates?

Koen,

Most likely they are being referred to somewhere else in the nettalk form template.

Like being "refreshed" by another field.

I exported the procedure to a TXA-file. There is section called %FieldList where the equates are listed. I removed the phantom equates from that list, there was no reference to them elsewhere in the TXA-file. Importing the TXA-file again and compiling gave no errors.

Okay, that does sound very phantom-ish!
