Scrolling the browse
« on: October 25, 2011, 05:18:22 AM »
In desktop application it is normal to scroll using the arrow-up and arrow-down keys. That won’t work in a browser, but isn’t an option to do this with the navigation buttons? There are buttons for the previous/next and first/last page. But there are no buttons for the previous/next record. This might be handy when using a child browse.

At the moment it's very "expensive" to update the browse by just 1 row. (Essentially it means refreshing the whole page anyway).
I can see the case for doing 1 at a time, but at the moment it only allows you to do a page at a time.

I'll put it on the list for a possible change in the future.

cheers

I see what you mean. I guess I will have educate my users that scrolling by one record won't be efficient in a web application.
