[Lookups to a file with a PK that is alphanumeric and unique]

Should this be possible?

When my lookup returns it very quickly shows the random characters, then my field goes blank.

Bruce: I have stripped this app down to its bare minimum and still have the problem. Skype me if you want me to send it to you

Ive attached my lookup settings so you can see them, both Cus:PreferredRegionCode and Reg:Code match.

Regards

Mark

Ive locked this down to the fact that the PK field how it stands at the moment must be numeric.

I added a couple of regions and set there code to be a number rather than alphanumeric.

I can select these and the show up in the field correctly, however if I select a region that has alphanumeric characters for its code, then I get a blank description after select.

Now Running on 5.25 and I don't think its working.

Ive made up a very small app, with 2 .tps files (very small) to show the problem Im having.

Also note that in 5.25 it doesn't work for numeric or alphanumeric characters stored in the PK.

C6.3 NTWS 5.25

If anyone else wants to test using this file, by all means do so.
