Optional date cannot be entered

Hi There-

If I have a date field in a form that is not required, there is no way to leave the date blank. Today the default is 2010/01/01. To see this, change Web31 so that there is not valid date range required for invoice date. You just can't get a blank date in.

Also, if you have a chance to look at this, the CreateDateInput method doesn't appear to populate the class information into the form when the date field is readonly. In the attached sample the form is being viewed. All the fields are styled properly, except the date field. When I look at the form through firebug, there doesn't appear to be any class settings on the date field.

hmm - I removed the validation on the date, and then cleared the date field, and it saved ok Gordon. (except for the "place holder" of course). So perhaps I've fixed this already, or perhaps I'm missing some detail?

ahh - I have duplicated - I was running the example in Page mode, not popup mode. It only does this in popup mode - I'm investigating further.
