« on: September 10, 2010, 01:31:12 AM »

Pls help any one or is their another way to run nettalk on another port but hide port number from users has some company sercurity network systems will not let them view webpages with port numbers?

Hi Olu,

do you know of this article:
http://www.clarionmag.com/cmag/v9/v9n02proxy.html (sub req)

I run a dozend webserver here, all on one machine, each one accessable from the outside using a FQDA, no need for an IP-Address or port.

Nettalk 5 has the MultiSite app, which does the same, but in a different way. (CapeSoft Insight req).

hth
Wolfgang

hehe - I do not want to get into trouble with Dave and Ben...!

Its a good moment to consider the subscription of Clarion Magazine. Its a real helpful tool for Clarionites.

But what I could do is sending you my http-vhost.conf so you can modify yours accordingly.

Sounds like a fair solution. Send me your mail-address via PM.

bye
