stop(bad data sent question
« on: August 24, 2010, 11:26:47 AM »
The Bad data Sent to Webserver error is popping up. I think mostly when I click on the webserver window so this may not be as big an issue as it seems.
Would it be alright for me to use a messagebox timed message there instead of a stop?
It could still pop up and ask to abort or ignore, but it could close itself and create a log of the error.
Assuming that would work, what data would be helpful in tracking the error and possible cause?

I apologize for monopolizing the forum lately but I have doing nothing but Nettalk for the past week or so and the more I work on somethign the more things I find.

TIA,
Chris

this implies you are not using PR29.
In PR29 this issue has been fixed.

If you are using multi-dll, remember that nettalk is in the data-dll.
You must recompile the data dll after updating, or re-installing nettalk.

Perhaps this is the source of your other errors as well?

Whaddaya mean, I'm not using 29, why I've got right here - look at the top of this template fi... le... 27. 27?
Who put that in there?!
I reinstalled C72 and all the templates. I must've had 27 in the exe folder. Doh!
Do over. I'm downloading it now.

I'll let you know what happens.

Thanks,
Chris
