NT Webserver Freezing
« on: September 29, 2022, 12:50:12 PM »
Clarion 11.1
NT 12.46

I have a NT webserver.  Just upgraded to C11.1 and NT 12.46.

The webserver seems to work fine, except sometime in the night it will freeze.
I've had to restart it each morning after forcing it to close.

Any thoughts on how to troubleshoot?

If you've paid for the CIDC2020 content, the first thing I'd recommend would be to watch Rick Martin's session on Preventing SQL Disconnections and see whether his approach is something you'd want to try.

yes, you're almost certainly the victim of a SQL disconnect.
Perhaps issue a sometable{prop:logout} on the web server procedure itself, if traffic has been quiet for a while.
(If you like, in the user group webinar this thursday, I can show you how.)

Cheers

I had a call to an external API that was stuck in a loop with no timeout.  It apparently was a coincidence that the latest versions of Clarion and NetTalk were just loaded.   Thank you for the time.
