Multi-Site host app
« on: April 26, 2020, 07:41:16 AM »
Hello,

I have a working multi-site host app compiled in the last version of Clarion, using NT 11.24.  It works fine, hosting 4 dll web apps.  However, I cannot connect to "management console" of the host exe.  I get errors as seen in the attached image, Errors.png.  The missing files reference here do seem to be on the server where they should be.
I decided to take the app and dct file for this host app and re-compile, still on NT 11.24 but now Clarion 11.0.13505.  The app compiles and runs fine.  I received an LE certificate for host077.usfbreastresearch.org.  I'm not hosting any dll web apps yet, just trying to connect to the host.  Now I get the error message seen in Protocol_Error.png.  It indicates a cipher mis-match/unsupported protocol.
The working host I have did not cause this much trouble when I first created it.  Has something changed in the latest Clarion?  Anyone have any thoughts?  I'm missing something here.

Thanks,

Jeff King

I'm going to post the screen shots I just stuck on the newsgroup version of your post, Jeff, with the same comments.

I see the same things as before -

1.  Chrome complains that the site is not secure because you are serving
some images (various paths to versions of favicon.png) over HTTP.  (Those are the YELLOW items in your screen shot).
First screen shot shows that Chrome is satisfied with the certificate
and encryption otherwise.

2. Your web folder is not where you think it is (or else you don't have the right stuff in it), so none of the
javascript/CSS are loading (Those are the RED items in your screen shot).  Check the path shown in the second screen
shot.

Did you maybe accidentally copy your sitesettings.xml file from your dev machine to your production machine?

Jane,

Thanks again, saw the newsgroup post and you were correct about the web folder location being set wrong.  Correcting that fixed all my issues.
