Mysterious error
« on: July 30, 2019, 02:11:59 AM »
Hi Bruce

Mysterious error (at least I don't understand it) in combination of "button - send value to server" and a "File Upload button".
I have attached an example.
Using NT11.18

Regards Niels

I'll check the example, but off the top of my head it's not a good idea to have a single button to multiple things.
Turn off the "send new value to server" and you're probably ok.

The button only have one function, to insert a record and update a browse - I know it's technically two things, but isn't this legal?

Hi Neils,

in the example you've sent me there's 2 fields on the page. One for upload file, one for button "send to server".
(That's not what I read in your origanal post.)

but I'm not getting the error on my side - any instructions on how to get it? I'm testing in chrome with 11.18

cheers
Bruce

maybe just Ctrl-F5 in Chrome? To refresh your cache?
The page seems to be fine from here in both Chrome, FF and IE.

cheers

Very very strange.
I have tried from several locations, on 4 different computers, with the same error.
Also refreshing the cache, no difference.

Do you have any idea where to look. Does the error give you a hint on anything?

In incognito mode, Chrome works fine.
Not that it brings me closer to an understanding of the problem.
