Validate All Embed is too late

Hi ,
Im using the "Validate All" embed to update  various data files when the SAVE is pushed on an update form
All good,  but  I want the save to be conditional.
Either its too late or I need an alternative embed  prior to the SAVE.

Im getting the loc:alert ok if a cancel condition is met, but I note that the file is already updated....
I would like  the update to close and not save depending on condition.

Given the many choices of embed points available whats recommended ?

Hallo Richard,

Where did you put the code on ValidateAll? to Start or to End? Put code to End and try again.
When you add code to embed try to open the source to see all the code above and bellow.
This way you will understand better what is there and how your code will be generated.
