Questions on WSDL file and Web Service Docs - issues?
« on: January 16, 2016, 11:47:14 AM »
Hi All

1)   I notice that my web services documentation contains 2 sets of field definitions for SOAP 1.1 and 1.2 in another set of customer tags.  Do I have another tag defined in the clarion nettalk app somewhere (in addition to Customer_List?) if so where?, see file Soap Definition 2 sets of fields.png

2)   I watched a video on using SoapUI and importing a WSDL file and the project was ready to to go without any further modification, so the data fields were already in the correct place in the soap request, is there another type of WSDL file? Or is this a Clarion Nettalk configuration setting?, see file other WSDL file imported fields aswell.png and file NT9 WSDL imported into SoapUI.png

3)   My web service documentation does not display correctly at the end (the JSON bit), how can I fix this? See file Webserver Doc Display issue.png

Many thanks

Edwin

Hi Edwin,

please try with the 9.02 upgrade (up in the next few minutes) and let me know if the issues are still there.
regarding the display issue, that looks like a theme issue so please post the theme you are using.

cheers
Bruce

Hi Bruce

Will update today and have a look see

I am using Shoestrap3

I did limit the the fields for display in the WSDL file and the service docs were ok (still had the 2 sets of fields for SOAP) but no web page display issue

I will report back later

Many thanks
