Creating a XSD file
« on: October 07, 2015, 08:04:26 PM »
I need to generate a XSD file from a spec supplied by a customer.
It looks like standard XML.
Can they be created with xfiles?
If so has anyone worked with creating them using Xfiles?

You don't need xFiles to do it - the Clarion IDE will do it for you.
Open the xml file in the IDE.
then go to the XML menu, and select "create Schema".

cheers

Things just seem to be rolling my way:
Got this error after Create Schema
The supplied xml instance is a schema or contains an inline schema. This class cannot infer a schema for a schema. - C:\Users\terry\Desktop\Telkom\ProcessDeviceInsuranceBatchFile_20150904.xsd:1
Any ideas?

perhaps the original thing you have is already a schema? What does it look like?
