« on: August 13, 2014, 10:57:20 AM »
Getting memory erros on the VM Server (See Below)
Also some odd behaviour from popup forms that might be related (See images)

When click change on the browse the form is just blank, I can cancelk it and go back to the browse.

Any pointer appreciated.

do you have gpf reporter from CS? It will get you a more meaningful report to narrow down what code is causing the problem. I don't believe it is a memory issue, more a coding issue.

Does Firebug (with firefox) tell you anything about the empty forms? - what comes from the server might be handy to look at.

Simpler still, first thing would be to right-click "View Source" and see if it really is empty.

Probably have a look at the nettalk form settings, see if there's a big "hide this stuff" going on .. Maybe a "Hide" setting is on.

Thanks for the advice.
One thing I noticed is the form looks exactly like when the server is down or stopped.
I am switching VM Vendors for this customer and getting them a dedicated server with more RAM - I hop this helps.

event using the clarion debug DLL, and compiling in debug mode, would get you more information. Or, GPF Reporter.

hint - only the first 10 lines of the stack are interesting BTW.

Update on Forms Issues.

Turns out you were correct on the coding being the issue.
I was doing some loops on a couple of browses to get the child totals into the header record and the system just does not like this.
What is the best way to do this, SQL?  Or can I grab the total from the Child table browse?

Thanks for all your help,

Brian.

If you post your code it would be easier to determine what you did wrong.

>> the system just does not like this.

more information would be helpful.
