Web page not responding
« on: May 22, 2014, 03:30:35 PM »
I have noted when testing my application that the web page is sometimes 'dead'.  A message then appears saying something like "Web page is not responding' and I can either refresh the page or click 'Recover page' which sets me back to where I was.

I am about to start some more serious stress testing with multiple users and will no doubt get more info about this.  I have only noticed the behaviour with IE and I will do more serious testing with Firefox to see if the problem is replicable in another browser.

In the meantime has anyone any experience and advice about this?

Thanks

Keith

If you have several CSS and JS files it is just like my problem. If you optimize them (put it in one compressed file) with gzip it works Ok.

I started thread with this problem few days ago.

According to Bruce disable Auto-check cached files option and be prepare to push Ctrl-F5 on a freezing page.

Best regards,
