NT Browse not going forward. Special Characters in a Field.

Hi,

I started running to this issue when I converted an existing mssql project from desktop to NT. There seems to be some special characters that are causing the NT browse not go forward. How do I get around this issue or find the records that have these characters.

Hi Bijan,

first thing to determine is what part of the browse is causing the problem. Might be data in the fields, might be xHtml, might be header and so on.

To find out which it is use Firebug, and open the returned value in the debug console. Click on the XML tab inside the response and you should see what's wrong.

Firebug was very helpful. However, we ended up writing a class that removes all these characters.
