Erroneous convert from ISO to UTF
« on: August 02, 2013, 04:12:26 AM »
Hi,

I have in WebServer - Advanced set the charset to ISO-8859-1 and Store-data-as to Scandinavian.
Everything shows scandinavian characters correct but when I tabs off a string field it converts to UTF  (I presume.)

How can I prevent this.

NT 7.18 / wizarded form.

Cheers,
/Poul

Hi Poul,

Am I correct that this character is the capital A with a circle above it?
Is this the only character with a problem?

cheers

Hi Bruce,

No this is a problem with all extendeded characters:  ÆØÅæøå  are the ones we are using.

Hi Poul,

I should have noticed this earlier, but

>> I have in WebServer - Advanced set the charset to ISO-8859-1

change this so the charset is 'utf-8'

Cheers
