Disappearing location search

I have found that if a child browse is set to below (childdocumentbrowsesettoright.jpg) then the location seach entry disappears. If I set it to right it appears.

no, the locator is appearing or not based on which column has the sort order. In the one case the browse is sorted by Iser Invoice number, and in the other it doesn't appear to be sorted on any column.

Probably all you want to do here is set one of the columns as the default sort order for the browser.
