I want to contract and expand fields in the a browse web application

I don't think you can do dynamically (like windows browse). You can however set the widths to be a sessionvariable and then allow your users to change your factory defaults. Also setting the tip to be the contents of the cell is a good way to allow the user to hover over and get the full contents.

Hi Johan,

It depends what you mean.
Are you wanting to resize the columns horizontally, or vertically?
For example, the Multi-Row example shows you how a browse row can be "minimized" and then expanded to show more fields.

Tanks Bruce, it works fine for multi rows.
I have say 4 fields(columns) at the end of my browse row, I want to contract and expand that last 4 columns in the same browse row , the same as if I hide or unhide the fields in the single same browse row.

When I un-tick the 'Last on Line' field in the Browse Property for the loc:contract field, the browse behavior vertical contract/expand row does not have any actions on hide/un-hide the fields in the same browse row.

Can this contract / expand behavior work to hide columns in the same browse row?
