Scheduler/Planner Approach
« on: September 03, 2012, 01:33:01 PM »
I have a desktop application (C6.3 ABC) that needs to have a scheduling calendar capability.  The scheduling data is contained in a TPS file.  Also, there is a web server (NT 6.42) that accesses the same data.  What I am trying to get straight is what is the best approach so that the desktop scheduling calendar has a similar feel to the NT access.  It doesn't appear that the NT planner has a similar "look" to the HotDates template for the desktop.

The scheduling is pretty simple - scheduling meetings in different rooms.

Suggestions for an approach so the two  systems have a similar "feel" when looking at the scheduling calendar?
Thanks,
Mike Springer

We use Hotdates here for the desktop stuff, and the NetTalk one for the web stuff.

While there are bound to be some visual differences, because of he nature of the different platforms, they follow along more or less the same lines.

Perhaps you can post screen-shots of what one does that the other doesn't and we can make some suggestions?

cheers
