Has 6.24 broken PDF printing?

No change to my app but when I go to print a report I get the familar Exporting to PDF splash window and then nothing. I did notice that in the browser it said:

http://192.168.2.5/ReportInvoice?_bidv_=xXFPxgAi&&PressedButton=

I have never seen that before.

The strange thing is that some reports work just fine with nothing in the URL.

this can happen in cases where there are records in the table range, but no details are printed (ie they're filtered out.) So in effect you end up with a "blank report" as distinct from "no records".

Or it could be the browse button problem fixed in 6.25.

_bidv_ is the row id, included in URL's where you've specified it to "include the row id". Internally, when received, _bidv_ is mapped into the primary key fields for the primary table of the browse.

Thanks Bruce. After posting I checked again and did wonder about that row id as I saw the checkbox was checked and had not noticed that before.

BTW in passing, is there any way we could be notified an update has been released. Not being critical but it seems that I only get notification when I stumble across a post mentioning it. The front page of the Forum does not make mention of it.

BTW Bruce - I unchecked the includeID box and it worked. Is this an issue then all be it that it does not require checking?

well sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn't. Depends a bit on if I'm at the keyboard when the upload finishes.
